My Personal Strategy:
I applied for the DCS Ultimate Platinum Mastercard and DCS Sheng Siong Credit Card. DCS Sheng Siong gives a 5% cashback with no min spend required and a free airport lounge pass every year. I’ll probably pass to my grocery shopping family member to use it when shopping at Sheng Siong. To achieve the monthly aggregate amount of S$450 for the first two consecutive months, i would use DCS Sheng Siong card to pay the Town Council Bill or any bill payments on AXS to enjoy 0.3% rebate (Valid till 31 December 2024). Rebate is capped at maximum bill payment of S$50 per transaction. Rebates do expire every 30 days which is KINDA annoying – I probably will not be using the card after I get my gift.
Here are the other cards you can use for AXS payment rebate:

Then, after that, use the DCS Sheng Siong Card for the groceries at Sheng Siong if needed.
